This has been mostly caused due to uncontrolled economic growth that considered limitless availability of resources. However, that growth has proven to be unviable in the long term, and sustainability must be reached in all of our activities; if we wish to preserve the environment and our planet.
As the name of our company implies, sustainability is a driver and a core motivation at SPS. Being so, it’s only logical that we adhere to different sustainability practices at our workplace, in order to reduce our environmental impact and help prevent climate change.
By doing so, we also expect to serve as an example for businesses and individuals that are looking to switch to more sustainable practices.

Our first and most important sustainability practice, and also the core of our business, are the different solutions we provide in solar energy, EV charging, and heat pumps, which are allowing businesses and individuals throughout the whole country to reach sustainability by reducing CO2 emissions and migrating towards green energy sources and technologies.
2. We are fully digital
As with any other activity, businesses have a direct impact on the environment, as their functioning requires the consumption of different resources. For example, only the internal paperwork (documents, reports, files, etc.) represent an important consumption of paper, ink, and electricity.
In order to reduce the impact that running a company represents on the environment, we’ve applied some of the best solutions that current technological development has provided us, and digitalized all of our work practices:
● Paper usage has been reduced to zero, as all the documents are handled electronically.
● We use CRM platforms, accounting software, and cloud storage for all the data the company handles.
● All our communication and meetings are handled via conferencing platforms, webchat, and other tools.
● All of the company administrative tasks are done digitally.
3. Remote Working
With the exception of installers and field personnel who must necessarily attend the project sites, all of our employees work from home, which leads to great benefits for sustainability.
With this practice, carbon emissions are reduced by eliminating the need for transportation of personnel from their homes to their workplaces, and the consumption of fossil fuels, and also helps to reduce traffic and air pollution.
4. Education on Sustainability
As experts on Sustainability, we’re very aware that one of the most important barriers to a sustainable and clean future is the lack of awareness in society. Therefore, the last (but not least) sustainability practice that we want to share here is the effort SPS is making on educating people about sustainable practices at work and at home.
